Ok Mikey. I need your help!
I need to know who on this board are the top three most experienced, skilled, skeptical and honest stone guys? I'm willing to send ONLY the top three a complete set of Cheetah Pads and a complete set of Monkeys for the finishing for them to beat the tar out of. That's $875 of free pads. NO I'm not fishing for testimonials. I've already got tons of overwhelmingly positive testimonials. I NEED DATA FROM PEOPLE WHO KNOW THEIR STONE. I will give them these pads in exchange for them taking high quality before and after pics, track each job (time, square footage, stone type, ease of use, a list of products and specific steps they'd normally use on each job) and their honest feedback. WHY WOULD I OPEN MYSELF UP TO POTENTIAL PUBLIC RIDICULE??? Because these are the people I made these pads for. The real professional stone restoration specialists not the guys who dabble in stone every now and then. I believe I've found a great balance between an extremely high quality finish, pad longevity and price. These pads can if used properly cut job time by up to 70% while producing better results than everything we've tested them against. But my claims are not the same as hard data from professionals I don't know. I need your best Mikeys board! One condition though. No one who works for or is connected with another manufacturer or distributor of stone products. I need honest unbiased feedback. WHO'S UP FOR IT?

Mikey. Looks like I have two volunteers. Bill from busy bee and albert. Both seem to be experienced and straight forward. I am sending them all the pads and my new lippage pad as well. I just need one more hardcore diehard resin diamond guy. Who else would you suggest?

You will very soon. I notice you have a cimex. I'll have 8" pads ready soon and cheetahs on a cimex are awesome together. Super easy and lightening fast. You'll literally have to fight the urge to keep going cuz they work sooo fast on a three head machine. Start looking for some really messed up stone floors at friends or family. Give them a shot. I'll walk you through the process on the phone before and while you do the job. I'd love some video of you doing a job with a cimex. What the hell, I should offer the same deal to three guys with little to no experience as well just to show how easy they are to use.

I have a marble refinish coming up that would be great to give whirl on before I invest in resin pads.

P.S. I have a weighted 175 floor machine... but it would be my first full marble polish. I'm as newb as it gets to the process.. I know enough to keep myself out of trouble but still be danergous.

did I mention I have a good video camera?

MIKEY!!!

I'm gonna double that offer. I'm looking for three more volunteers to gather data in return for over $1000 of FREE CHEETAH PADS.

I need three volunteers with little to no stone experience to prove that not only are Cheetah Pads the fastest but their also the easiest stone restoration system available.

Who do you recommend? They can't be connected with a manufacturer or supplier and be willing to take video and photos as well as track the same data.

Because these three need to have very little experience, I will personally support them on every job by phone and email to ensure they never get in over their heads.

I'll give em a shot. I doubt you will even consider my offer though. I was deadly honest about the monkeys.

Re: I need the Top 3 Stone Guys here to test some Cheetah Pa

Here's the deal. Stone guys are always looking for faster easier ways, who isn't? But most of us WILL NOT sacrifice quality for faster and easier.

For me, monkeys were neither. Nor did they offer the quality of finish (depth, clarity, or shine) that I demand. In most cases diamonds were faster, and lasted longer. By the way, I only have one set of pads for floors which works equally well on all calcite stones. Didn't cost $1200.00 either. I have 2 polishing compounds, not 8.

So if you believe these cheetahs do as you claim, send me some. If they perform as advertised, I will let everyone know. I'll push them on the stone boards where there was little if any success with the monkeys.

I have very little experience with stone and most of the time I end up calling Mikey up and asking him what to do next. I would like to try some of the new pads out but again I don't do a Lot of stone because I am not properly trained and do not want to mess up someones expensive floor. The few times I have done a floor the floor is already ruined by some "professional" and since it is messed up already I take a shot at it with my monkey pads and always has come out ok, not greAt , but ok.

Ok. I've already got my three experienced guys but I'll make it four and add Gary T to the list. But I wonder if you can be objective??? I'm not saying you're one of them but there are a few guys out there who used the monkey pads in ways they weren't intended to be used. They never even read the six page instruction booklet that clearly outlines the process for best clarity by using resin diamond discs for the prep work and use monkeys for finishing. But let's be honest here. Monkeys weren't made for the quality minded pro... Neither were twisters, nortons or 3M pads. They were made for jan san staff and for people who don't want to get into serious restoration but want to offer something to their customers when the damage is slight. I never believed that they'd be accepted by the craftsman. That's why I said very sincerely, thank you to those hard core quality driven pros who were so quick to bash them. Honestly it pissed me off enough to spend nights and weekends for nearly three years working on something that would satisfy the OCD for perfection that we share. So Gary, "IF" you can be objective, I'd love to send you a set in return for your feedback. Now is the time for this because the feedback I get from guys like you may lead to upgrades or modifications to the Cheetah Pads. After all, my goal with the Cheetah Pads is not to bad mouth anyone, any company or any specific product, the goal is to work together with unbiased stone guys to develop new technologies to make their businesses more successful and more profitable. I think we can all agree that's a worthy cause and I'm glad you're volunteering.

I'm waiting on Mikeys list of three. Mikey? Pick em good. I don't want to send nearly $1000 of pads to anyone who won't use them and track the data.
