I would have a banner promoting a package deal on the most versatile tool ANY carpet cleaner can and should own.
It will turn a mediocre cleaner into a rock star regardless of their primary method.

Pre scrub carpet and tile/stone
Strip coatings
Shampoo/Encapsulate carpet
Post pad or bonnet filthy carpet after any method
Clean and buff VCT, wood floors and concrete


I would put together a package with the lightest but quality 175 rpm, 1.5 HP ,17" machine available, adjusta'glide shampoo brush, pad driver, mal/nyla-grit brush, boxes of white, red and black pads, 20 cotton OP style pads, 10 Tuway pads and some yard trim to make a sling ring.


I wonder who could come up with the best price...?

Adjust-A-Glides are for cleaners that don't have the correct brush.

They are polypropylene, instead of the correct nylon bristles (and cost more).

Get nylon from Stiff, to oriental soft.

Break them in properly . . .

and then you will be a professional with the proper tools.

We've tried several "lightweight" floor machines . . .

Durability of base was usually the main problem.

Small wheels on narrow axles was another issue.

1.5 HP is needed for stone polishing.

I had that unit you sell for about two months before I tossed it overboard..

a light unit will work great for scrub the soft stuff but wont strip a floor worth a crap. If its gonna be light a bracket should be added to stack weights for vct/ monkey pad type work
