IICRC or Mickeys board(value)

Today I received my renewal forms for certified firm. $40.00 anual fee. Of course I will pay it. I have always been taught to be a reputable card carrying carpet cleaner. But I was thinking about the value of money well spent. Like when you have a fantastic meal/wine, pay the bill and leave. You think wow that was delicious. It was worth it, I got value. The money exchanged equalled the service received. When I see the value of this board I see that value. I contribute peanuts as a supporting member(5 bucks) to help. But honestly to me this board has a much higher value then the IICRC. Thanks, Ron
