Going out today for some pretty hefty commercial estimates and going to see my CPA.

Do you dress for success?
I'm as BD as the rest of you but I don't let my customer or potential customer know that.

Ain't I perdy?

absolutely. looks like you are not wearing a suit, i don't either. i wear a suit several times during the week and have a nice collection of them, but for demo's, measures and walk-through's, i find it is not appropriate attire for me. khaki's or dressy corduroys with a button up work well for me. no sneaks for my business...i wear Clark shoes only.

no t-shirt's & no sneakers (of course nothing wrong with wearing them, they just aint for me when i am at work), being well-groomed, is what separates us from 95% of the other CC'ers in my area i reckon.

The thread heading sums it up. If you want top dollar you have to act it, dress it and show it in your work!

Image is more then just the clothes you are wearing. Some people look professional no matter how they dress (within reason).

Just got back from a long day of networking and people meeting.

I only wear a suit sometimes.
No Blue Mohawk and all that.
Image is more than the clothes you wear but without the clothes it doesn't work for what it works for.

Anyway,
Woo Hoo! Scored a $4000.00 Carpet and Tile job today. Made some really good contacts and got my business back on track with the most amazing CPA you will ever find.

Not to mention I scheduled a bunch of repeat business today thank God.
I am doing the job over 3 days (could do it in 2) and I'm as happy as a little girl.

When your image is up, your whole attitude is up.

I agree having sweats as part of your uniform is a drag.

Congrads on the account, post some pics.
