in what situations are you pulling base and drilling holes??

I am wondering what situations are you pulling the baseboards and drilling holes below the base but above the sill plate?? also when are you opting to use an injectidry type machine??

When the wall covering is acting as a vapor barrier or the wall is fire rated.
Doing so is not for the ametuer. Great care must be taken to determine where that air is going to escape from and what may be in that air.

If you dont have the propper training, air capture and scrubbing equipment and a real good CPL policy I would advise against it.

Insulated walls, vinyl wall paper or those that have wicked more than just a little.

With the injectidry you can also draw air from the cavity and use the intercepter HEPA to filter it.



If more than a couple of a days has passed and there is concern of possible contamination (not gross mold growth), but the don't want the walls removed, we will use the adaptidry with neg air machines doing the suction.

This is done with complete explanation and a possible refusal of recommendations signed.
