We've got some good leather guys on here...question to them:

What would you recommend to a friend of ours that got their "top of the line" Sienna decorated with black ballpoint pen all over the seats and side panels. Cream colored leather. I have a feeling that some of that leather might not be leather but some fake vinyl stuff...I don't know.

I have some ideas and a couple of leather kits but I'm too far away from them to work on it.

try a waterless hand cleaner (without pumice or other abrasives) apply to a inconspicuous spot with a terry towel and slowly work in. Wipe off with a damp towel. Most waterless hand cleaners contain alcohol which may help to remove the ink. Watch out that you don't smear it.
