What is the best way to price this ?

We price insulation removal by the square foot, based on category of the loss and the pain in the ass factor. Removing category 3 insulation from a high ceiling or a crawl space could be $1.25 to $1.50 a square foot. Removing category 1 insulation from a 7 foot high wall could be 0.6 to 0.75 cents a square foot. Charge for what you can justify and make a note on your invoice.
