Intake/Exhaust nipple on 5009 blower

Any suggestions on removing these bad boys. They aren't budging.

Big ass pipe wrench with a long pipe attached for leverage.

put a torch on them for about 5 minutes to heat them up....along with some penetrating oil of some sort

Combination of torch and impact, along with the above.

Worst case scenario carefully cut thru the pipe from the inside and break it out, without buggering the blower threads.

Once I stored a blower for almost a year in a container of 4:1 kerosene and WD40. When I finally thought about it again it was very compliant.

if ya GOTTA....
keep the heat OFF the nipple or it WILL expand....
heat the blower slightly..... evenly....real close to the nipple
and it WILL come off!

Oh yeah...Liquid Wrench helps...and you want the blower secured on a floor or sturdy bench...

i hit it on both...get them bastards to open up a little....

its the combo of heat(running) and the cool down effect that makes it such a bitch to turn....

Thanks for all the help. I gots me some new nipples. Only $8.60 each. Installing a new blower in the V so won't need the old rusty nipples. Thanks Michael Lockhart for the blower and the help.

And for everyone that needs a good penetrating oil for such things get some kroil from kano labs. Best stuff on the planet. You can get it in a spray can or in bulk gallons via their website. Guaranteed you will be amazed. I have used it for 25 years.
