intensive hardwood floor cleaning

i dont have a dirt dragon, but i have other tools that help accomplish the same task.

This was Heavy duty wood cleaner by bridgepoint put on at half the remommemded dillution,
not double strength but half strength. used sx-12 to extract, but on low heat. 150 degrees. you dont want to put high heat onto a hardwood floor. i used a white floor pad to agitate. and prep work is very essential when it comes to actually scrubbing. you need to remove as much sand as you can and make sure there is NO ROCKS that can get stuck in your pad.

We do the same but use a PMF hard floor wand to rinse @ 300 psi.


Don't you need at least 500 or more to get a spinner to...spin?


and don't work more than 200 sf tops at a time.

i was cleaning at 800 psi, but only because the floor was a solid finish of polyurethane, no cracks, if it had seams i would have use used a mop and bucket.

I haven't tried the Bridgepoint cleaner or used the SX 12 on wood. If you had floor that is finished after install I guess it would work. Will the Bridgepoint stuff work to remove Orange Glow or other type of build up? I usually resort to floor stripper if I have to try to clean a floor ruined by Orange Glow.
It is amazing how people will ruin one of the prefinished floors by cleaning with aggressive chemicals or putting a topical coating on them. Thanks for the video.

It doesn't take much water to damage wood especially at pressure. I've seen water under poly and it's gonna cause some damage.
