Hello everyone,
My name is Tyler, and I was the ops manager for a company that did janitorial and carpet cleaning for 7 years. I just started as a housekeeping supervisor in an independent living facility that's been neglected and has new owners now but it's presenting some problems that are new to me. I'm going to be getting all new equipment within two weeks but all I have access to right now are residential vacuums and a rented Host Freestyle. My main problem is, what is the best way to get human feces (liquid and solid) out of carpet? In my previous position most of our carpet care was just regular maintenance and coffee spills. Thanks,
Tyler

We clean the largest facility in town. Most of the calls are related to bodily fluids.

Richard the Desk Monkey is correct in that HWE (Hot Water Extraction) is the way to go. Using a rotary extraction head which makes multiple cleaning passes per second along with a clear site tube is the best tool to attached to your truckmount or portable extraction machine.

Also a Water Claw will enable you to flush messes from padding and sub floors..
