We have one @ $119 that is a good value, and performs well in dim light.

Anytime I see the words "good value" I automatically think it's a piece of shit, I trust your opinion though Larry how much weaker is that compared to the nice models that they got ripped off?

I was sadly disappointed in how great the quality of some cheap uv light are. I'd check out a few before getting the nice ones.

Dan bought a couple of cheap ass ones for efficacy testing with glow solution.
I went to show him how great our high dollar one worked. I thought it would blow his away but instead the El Cheapo held its own.

Sure, the Makita bulb replacements are : "actual UV output: > 600 mW" per their website

Our #GG8BL $239 light actual UV output is >1800 mw with better heat dissipation for long life.

Our #GG9BL $119 light actual UV output is >900 mw with better heat dissipation for long life.

These numbers are lower because they are actual UV mw light output.

P.S. Richard: which light was the high dollar one ?
