My problem was it was hard to push. The vac relief may make a world of difference.

I don't think it was there when I tried it.

Are there still little holes to clog up?

Why don't they make a teflon or a stainless glide?

If they would just stick some regular jets on it, it looks quite comfy.

I like the looks of the handle and the better angle for the operator, the head looks light, but I've never tried one, hopefully in Nashville. 8)

They're on the right track as long as it works in the cleaning department.

I always had my "assist handle" up higher so I didn't have too bend to much.

I like the back and forth cleaning like the zipper.

The window is cool but the vac relief could be done differently.

If you have to have a vac relief valve, there is a flaw in the design of the cleaning head. IMO.

Say what you want about this wand but when we were doing the cleaning tests in Phoenix we used one TM twice.
Once with a conventional wand and once with this wand.
There was a very dramatic difference ie a third more soil removed and half the moisture left behind compared to the conventional wand.

Well done Keith !!

Tony was that at normal cleaning speed or slooooowww like Mandingo cleans? :p
Cool! I'll have to try her out.

Keith is one sharp cookie!

At least his name isn't Edison........

Wyatt, each 3 ft square of carpet was cleaned by the same operator for exactly 60 seconds.
Probably a way faster pace than any chunky monkey could keep up with.

The vacuum relief is only needed on a small % of carpet in my experience.

Cleaning has been better as well.

It's just different, get over it and take it for a drive.

I bought this wand and ended up returning it. There was a lot to like - cleaning in both directions and the valve. However, it was difficult to impossible to move on many carpets. Further because I had to push so hard to get it to move the glide part began to warp a little. Also the little holes clogged significantly after a few days. This was not fixable by me or my supplier. Has ALL this been fixed? If so, I think it would be a real winner.

I bet this wand will be a gadget that is laughed about

"will" be??

While I can see an upl tool being rotomolded , a wand should never be...they get far to much abuse in the "real" world.

They missed the boat on the wand, it "might" be a great design in theory, but when they went CHEAP on manufacture materials in the interest of hi profit margins...they blew it.

"trendy" cleaners, rookies and know nothings will be their market niche .
It will never be a serious contender until the head is made of durable components

Do not let Larry's vast inexperience in carpet cleaning + his brutal honesty mislead you guys.
Usually, case in study, he is absolutely right!

The ergonomics might benefit my hands, but that plastic head wouldn't last me thirty days.

Saphire should study shaving razor marketing and offer disposable heads. A six-pack for $300. They could dominate the market.
