Jetting down a Greenhorn

Has anyone jetted down a greenhorn wand to say 7.5 flow to maintain a little more heat? Down to 5?. I'm using several different wands, anywhere from 04 flow all the way up to 10 with the greenhorn. Just curious if anyone has experimented with different jetting.
Thanks!

Doesn't matter what anyone says.
Try it for yourself and see for yourself.
Jets aren't all that expensive to buy and try different flow rates.

save a few fennings and buy brass jets to try.
if you like it, then when the brass jets are worn, buy stainless.

Jerry;

If you are trying to get more heat to the carpet fiber...

Then don't decrease the jet size.

Heat exchangers transfer more BTU's of heat when the flow is higher.

you get some 01's on a greenhorn and you're just misting the carpet. You'd have to crank your PSI way up. Lots of guys used to say they got 1 hr dry times. That's because they weren't using any water!!

Personally, I like an 03 jet,the water droplet is big enough to give some good action and enough flow for flushing. 04 might be better.
