If he's the same Jim Martin from a few years ago I've talked to a few times.
Someone selling stuff on the classified section was selling a ss upholstery tool with a Jim Martin bag and described it exactly as the title posted.

I was curious to what is it. That's all.
I know it's a bag but sounded like it had some type of significance to it.

What is your question?

If you are looking for a good bag get a few from the sealadoor guy his look to stand the test if time.
Thank you, Michael, for the "referral"...these are heavy duty, double stitched with a mesh vent to aid in drying out. Take a look at www.sealadoor.com for more information. IMG_2669.JPG

I like the look of that seal a door canvas, you know that's gonna last a long long time. I currently use a cactus ropes two sided and padded rope bag from Cal Ranch. I love the padding and wonder if Ron has thought about adding it to his?

If you drain your uph tool and don't carry your shampoo mitts in the pocket and play gentle with the zippers, they're alright. My Lora Olsen modified bag is holding up well

But those SADS look heirloom...

If I recall the reason it's called a Jim Martin is because he's the genius that first discovered the rope bag.
Joel Riggs was the one who found them...i was the one who started personalized them..both mine are still in good shape and carring my uph tools..

Jim did come up with customizing them and that was too cool not to copy as I am. I'm not creative and so I like to copy successful people as much as I can.

Probably better not to copy such a description to the title of another thread in the main room when it involves someones name like that, especially when it is in such a negative light....joke or not.

Not cool.

Not really "rigid"...just looks that way. Would just mention, it is a large capacity bag....it'll hold a lot of "stuff"!
