Back "In the Day", we had a lot of guys that went from Castex (original company) Magnum series units to truck mounts, and insisted that we set the unit up to use their favorite wand.

Never had to rivet the head back on.
I put splash gards on the sides and it has a teflon glide.
Covers a lot of carpet quickly. Go faster in a home . Time is money.
Those two inch wands hurt my hands and wrist. I run two inch hose right up to it. 8 flow jets
