Some oil ports in some engines need that thinner oil to lube you're camshaft properly.why didn't you go with 10-40wt?

I thought the purpose of high mileage motor oil was to keep the gaskets more soft to prevent leaksNot sure if high mileage oil would help a Kohler. I think high mileage is for the internals where a Kohler just leaks out the gaskets especially the valve covers.

I don't know, Jimmy studies this stuff pretty well. I'd go with Jimmy, he's impartial.I just go with what the engine manufacturer suggests
