My son set up our Blackberrys to use a variant of ChaChing.

I'm still learning it, but like that we can synchronize everything to the office computer.

I'll look at the Google setup.

I use a pen and a day minder that fits into the my shirts front pocket, Its got my schedule, I have it right there with me, someone calls while I am cleaning, I just wip it out on the spot. it also gives me access to past customers address which is very nice when having to go back and check water losses. In the back I keep all my contact phone numbers, for subs and places I buy stuff from, like b point and john O. its like a pocket office

Will that sync with outlook?

I briefly looked at google. I am trying to find something online to so my sales rep and I can reference the same calendar to book jobs.

Any suggestions or experience with this scenario?

I think Goog cal would work for that. My girlfriend uses it on her iPhone for nursing school stuff...it really is a great set up.

Act with Handheld contact on a blackberry is another killer set up imo. It will live sync with the office pc act database...in realtime, so jobs booked from the field show up pretty much instantly back at the office.

I have not tried google but we use ABS Customer Appointment manager and have had good results with 4 trucks.
