Now when you see this you need to know this was a running machine or so we were told. Supposedly the fuel pump just went out...

LOL

That's the main reason those baskets crack is the tech's don't clean them and the vacuum pulls hard on the lint.

:eekk: My distributor told me he found a basket that had mushrooms growing in it.

Reminds me of the time I bought a truckmount with 300 hours on it for $1300.
The guy was complaining about lack of vacuum.
I went to pop the lid off the waste tank and the guy said "what are you looking in there for, there's nothing in there".
I just said load it up boys.
We bought his 2nd. TM also.

You could sprout seeds over the weekend. I raise microgreens in 7 days from seeds to table. They grow fast. I found these after a 3 day weekend. Even had a small bit of comb.

Thats lint trap isnt That bad.. ours can get that full after just one job. Ive seen lint traps at my local repair shop that were total clogged!!

But I think Most MBs regulars know about proper upkeep on their TMs-- Its The Lurkers that are more prone to be Hacks.-- IMO:stir:

I use knee highs over my vac ports fastened on with small bungee cords. When they get full they droop down into the tank. No basket crap for me.

These Paint Filter liners work too....

I get these 5 gallon ones from http://www.painterdeal.com/filter.html

I use the SB 501. I just put them in place of my Butler Filter Bags in the back of the clean out and throw them away everyday....

You could reuse them if you wanted, but then I could just use the Butler bags if I did that....

So for the few cents a day....I just toss them.

These bags are bigger than the others I had found, so work better for me....more surface to fill and larger to fill....and fit in my cleanout basket better.

This is the plate that holds the Filters in place in the Butler Box

Rather than put the Butler Filter bag in, I just use the Paint liners by themselves unless I run into something really crazy for debris like on a Basement floor cleaning....I even then will run a filter bag in a Butler bag, or last week, I just doubled up on 2 paint filter liners.....

Anyone know of a filter bag like Marks that will fit the filter box(with the bar/handle in the middle) in the first post?

I bet you could use these larger ones also and the bag would just drape on both sides of that rod....

I would try them, especially since these are larger and look like they would fit in that area....

The elastic band on top of the bag is meant to fit easily over a 5 gallon bucket and still hold, so I think it would work
