cause they're jUnk
junk in the mowers too.

only reason they use 'em is cause they're cheaper than Kohlor, Honda and Kobota
Briggs and Stratton are better too...oil leaks 'n all

Only thing worse that Kaw are Tecumseh and Harbore Freight horsechit

I have a Performance 1 tm with a Wisconsin. I haven't started it in years. Any buyers out there? It pushes a 59 blower and a cat pump. Gets hotter than hell.

In addition to the physical service problems with Kawasaki, some of which were addressed way too late by them, was the issue with adequate dealer service facilities, that could competently work on them. In some cases, customers were forced to drive out of state to address service issues...which were not uncommon. I'm not speaking of the TM Distributors, but the listed Kawasaki Dealers that often did not have training or experience with the larger Kawi engines this industry had selected, e.g. the FD620 series.

Smaller Kawasaki engines, such as Jimmy mentions, are far better supported.

Jimmy,

I would bet that engine was an air-cooled model, right?

Still, even if the situation has improved, the reputation remains. Any TM OEM would have a tough time marketing a Kawi for a while.
