You know what they say. No accounting for taste. I mean, take me, for instance...I never particularly even LIKED Eddie's style of playing. People rave about "the brown sound", and all I hear is a guy who's an extremely accomplished technical player, but didn't have a lot of "soul". I say C.C. Deville's probably one of the best guitarists to make it mainstream, ever...he beats the hell out of Kirk Hammett, in terms of the level of emotion I feel when I listen to their songs.

We can dive into virtuosos next, if you want. Satch, Vai, Eric Johnson, and so forth.
