I recently purchased a Kool Glide Pro carpet seamer from Superior Cleaning Solutions ...good price, fast shipping....for use in carpet repair. This item paid for itself in less than 2 weeks! This tech marvel makes carpet repair...fast, easy, and with very little practice ...perfect. Unlike a traditional hot iron seamer.....the Kool Glide is totally forgiving of mistakes. Don't like they way that patch you did is laying? Reheat the seam ...pull it up and do it again!

Bottom line...this is a tool every carpet cleaner should have....a fast, easy way to add $50 to $150+ to your ticket.

Just always be VERY CAREFUL of metal ( pad staples, tackless nails, etc) under olefin carpets. The metal becomes super heated and melts the ole from the back up.

It's great to have in the tool belt and can really speed up some repairs. It is not fool proof or a must for repair work. Not the first thing to buy if you want to do repairs.
