Labeling update on chemspec

Over 4 years ago I made a post how I looked at the jars of powdered defoamer from chemspec. I found the instructions saying to apply the powder "lightly and evening"....Thats right "evening".

I looked at some jars from about 6-8 years old- same chemical- same direction...At that time I called chemspec and asked if that was supposed to say evenly...the lady on the phone laughed it off and kinda implied its not possible that the directions say that apply "lightly and evening"

Just yesterday I stopped by to drop a few hundred bucks at a disty and had to pick up defoamer too. What do you know...I figured SS would fix up little mistakes by now (since the merger) but the label still says the wrong word.

So can we apply the powder in the afternoon or in the morning too???

Another "issue".

Also a few years ago...
I looked at getting a gallon of descaler. Started reading the HM descaler jar directions. It didn't sound right. It was saying to mix it in your chem jug and meter it at around 2gph..

So I looked at the jar of Clear water rinse as well and realized they printed the Clear water rinse directions on the descaler jars. I called HM and told them to notify their distributors not to let carpet cleaners clean people's carpets with the descaler running thru their system.
Maybe they didn't take it seriously since the reps at Connections a couple weeks later had no idea what I was talking about, until I pulled one of their jugs out right there at their booth displaying the chems and showed them. They couldn't believe it... I wonder if anyone had damaged their equipment or customer's carpets with a little too acidic rinse... I hope not.


Edit: Just looked at HM descaler online and to their credit, they redid the labels and seems to be good directions.

I picked up a few jars of defoamer a couple weeks ago and still got the old "evening use only" jars.

So out of curiosity, I went on their website and Yes- they have changed the look and label (at least on the website...I haven't seen an actual jar)

This issue only needed about 10 years and a company merger to get fixed.

As a Chemspec distributor the last 8 years have been frustrating to say the least. Great products but terrible marketing.
I couldn't be happier with the focus that the have to get back in the game.
They plan to win.
I thank them and so should the professional carpet cleaner.

I think if we get rid of Zee, the problem would solve itself.

Apparently Zee is the only one that ever noticed this.
