Did est. for custy last week with In-home day care....Some dudes in a yellowish truck left it wet for 4 days she said....low profile white nylon berber in basement..

Pretty dirty stuff but 4 days m'am? For real??
Yes Jordan, for real

Well Ms. Jones I don't mess around for no 4 days...she says let's party

Ok so she has a big purple paint spot on a plush green I think polysester but not tested... wasn't absorbing alot of water

I promised her little...She said she sprayed everything in town on it and sucked it all up with her NEW Bissel wet vac and ruined it...

So I get out my solvent and white towel...about 10 blotches on one little spot and it was gone...ok well she assumes it will all come out...told her I would rinse first instead of charging her a bunch by hand...

Sprayed with PIG from BP....rinsed well....did ok....Sprayed with VS solvent...rinsed....then VS Git-go and Solvent...still faint...then FELS!!!....looked a lil better...then 10 volume/ammonia...still very faint...she was very happy but I could have been happier....I rinsed heavy and turbo dried...

So if I would have dabbed it all up by hand think it would have come all up??

Is paint better by hand instead of water??....

ALSO...what would you guys do if someone called and spilled gallon of paint or more...
You wouldn't suck it all up with ur wand and hose would you??

Shop vac excess or what??

what ever works best.
We've run into grease/tar spots that would only look better by toweling

I'll tell them DON'T PANIC and to scrape up excess first.
drywall taping knife works pretty well.
You kind of scrape it onto a piece of cardboard or similar..
Then throw a wet towel over it til we get there.

Then we'll flush/rinse the he11 out of it with the wand

the we dump the paint tainted waste water on their side walk and concrete drive way as a reminder to use drop cloths next time......

This is one of those situations where a high flow and high heat would have come in handy

Acetone- You guys work way too hard.

damn, Willy
I thought all you Great Northwest dudes were greenhEd wackos.
Plain ole hot water will get rid of it.

I thought Jordan meant fresh, "wet" paint in his asking scenario.

'cides, if you use all your acetone up, how will you remove that ruby red nail polish you wear with your evening gown.....
