large water stain on a silk lamp shade

I declined to do anything with it
'cause other than watching Gary Heacock soak a silk tie in Bio-Kleen , i don't know squat about silk

It was an off white lamp shade with what looked to my like a water stain ring.
The lady told me it was silk

what would of been the best way to remove the water mark???

I would have walked unless she said it was trash, then I'd take it and experiment. One of the smartest cleaners I knew said walk from silk.

Its not that tough. Remove as much dry soil as you can. Fill a bath tub with warm warm and a put the shade in there and had clean it with a mild cleaner. If the water is dark from the soil I suggest empty the tub and re-fill it. You can towel dry it for nap and then you can use an hair dryer to dry the rest.
