Two tools and he broke them both.
The ETM looks good but (4) cords would be black spaghetti in a home, especially when strung across to reach the 15 and 20 amp outlets. Love the cart, I think if you add a heat source the unit would really excel for commercial HWE.

When I used a OG Rotovac with my POS Resoil I'd put in 15 gallons of water and only be able to recover 5 or 6 ..
Portables just dont work with any thing but a 12 inch wand.

Indeed. Thanks to Mike and Chavez and Jimmy for this useful thread. Trashing the Mytee ETM because the rotary machine had an air loss is helpful. I liked how Mike held two of the five vac chambers and said there wasn't much vacuum. I once had a customer who held a part of my Ti wand at the head hooked to my Pro 1200 and said there wasn't much vacuum. LOL. The Mytee ETM and a rotary is an excellent combination for everyday cleaning.

I understand you have to defend your substandard method Art so you can sleep at night but the proof was in the pudding, Puddin.
The wanded areas were a HUGE difference..
Even a mega porty like the Etm and just 75 feet of hose will SOAK that carpet if used with a RE

In defense of the Escape . . .
Lockhart thought we had a vac leak at the machine connection (we did hear airflow).
The carpet where we cleaned with both rotaries looked clean the next day,
but not perfectly even.
The Bentley 14" with GreenGlide showed it's potential ability.

If there was even a hint of a problem with using the electric system I use, I would stop immediately and use my TM.I use my dual 3 stage porty every day with 60- 75 foot runs, as well as my 500 cfm TM, so I know what I'm talking about. There is no soaking of the carpets or I would hear my customers howl. They just call me back for the next cleaning and refer me to their friends and family just like always. The last job today, the MBR was bone dry after two hours because I was still there after cleaning every room and all the furniture. I speak from personal experience on real jobs performed by a real cleaner with all his equipment in top form. This is the future Mike. I will drag you kicking and screaming.
General pump and quad vac? I was doing that more than 10 years ago.

No way, it wasn't me! That Escape is overkill for cleaning apartments. I'm using a trigger sprayer and a Grandi Groom for apartment cleaning these days.
