I do love Larry's grout sealer, too. We spray the entire floor and level it with a cotton dust mop. Works great.

This product. You just spray it on and and then wipe it down and it leaves no residue. Cool. I use an aerosol like that. I have the contraption that holds the can for spraying. Works well and doesn't smell to bad.

Step 1- clean stone floor

Step 2- dry stone floor

Step 3- apply Cobbs. 2 coats is best with 10 minutes between

Step 4 - work in the sealer with a Rubbermaid flat mop

Step 5-collect check.



Alternatively you can speed dry the remaining Cobbs with a fan for incredibly fast drying.

Always wondering about speed drying a solvent type protector. Wouldn't it be counter-productive to force the stuff into the air instead of letting it soak in "naturally" and dry on the surface it was intended to protect.

yes, we always push the homeowner to let it dry naturally.


We did have to wipe off the Cobbs from the Black Absolute inlays on this job though. Nothing will penetrate that stuff.

The Ultraseal Impregnator will normally penetrate black granite . . .

but it varies with the polish level, and final polishing steps used originally.

P. S. Polished Black Absolute with an uneven stone doesn't seem like the best combo.
