Last minute squeeze in before Christmas party means$$$$$$

After a long tiring day shell gets a call from a bank asking if we would consider coming out today. Just as I was saying hell no (it was 4pm) I heard her say "ok so it's about 2000 sqft of tile and grout...that got my attn. I told her to tell them 1300$ and I can be there in 45 mins but they have to pay tonight. They said to come on!!
2.75 hrs later I am tired but got some more coin. Love those please please calls

I had one of those once. A taco joint had a sale on tacos for .50 a piece. they sold like 2500 that day. They even had to have the delivery truck bring up more taco ingredients so they could finish. They asked me if I could come down right now...it was 7pm.... and clean the tile. I told them .65 a foot and to be paid tonight. They agreed. I cleaned and made about $750.. Their jaw dropped when I handed them the invoice. Poor suckers probably lost money a lot of money that day. Needless to say, I haven't heard from them again......which I knew up front they would probably never use me again anyhow seeing that this was an emergency type cleanup job. 8)

I didn't even up charge them. I get .65 a sqft to clean. If he had not been a must do tonight he would have gotten a commercial discount and a little reduction for having everything moved.
