Who leaves a stack of business cards in houses that are empty and for sale for other realtors to pick up after they see the wonderful job you did?

Would this be considered tacky or good marketing?

The best thing about an empty house (besides leave behind cards, magnets, etc.) is you don't have to worry about using their bathroom. Just don't leave any #1 or #2 spotter behind.

If you have been in this business long enough you.

1. check make sure the toilet works.
2. TP.

IF number one fails, and number 2 is coming a 1/2 filled bucket with water will flush any toilet. ( that I learned from my portable days)

As long as you ask the person paying for the cleaning if they don't mind.

Some would see your card as being a selling point (nice clean carpet/good marketing) others would see it as junk mail left conspicuously inside their house (tacky and irritating).

I leave business cards where ever I perform business. No loss in that only profit. If your work is good why not. Brian I know your work is superior . That would only be advertisement for you and /free. CM on it is not as tacky you think or as others may think.
