It turns out there is a Church of God Convention in town at the same time. These people have taken up a huge amount (90%?) of the available rooms in the city.

We are working on an option or two today. Once we announce the chosen hotel DO NOT DELAY in reserving your rooms..

If you wait until June (or July 18th) to book your room, plan on staying way, way out of town and in a Super 8 or worse

Or your car.

Bookmark this thread as this is where we will be making the announcement.

Jim Bardwell and John Browning of Pro Care of Nashville along with Chris Pond at the Cleaner's Depot and Scott Warrington with Interlink Nashville are going to co-host the event.

The Pro Care facility is top notch with plenty of space for demos and classes. We'll have a strong rug cleaning emphasis as they have a nice set up and with Interlink's help we can get some additional equipment to play with.

Jim is a marketing genius and has loads to share. He'll be able to bring in some top notch speakers as well.
Pro Care will set up a commercial job where we can all go out on location for method and machine comparisons like we use to do in Santa Cruz.

A few rules to live by on a tile/stone job this size ..

  • ALWAYS have a Malish Brush for your 175 and a Sling Ring on hand, you never know when Mr Topical is going to pop up and bite you in the ass.*
  • Always keep too much stripper on your truck*
  • Do not attempt to strip around stained wood baseboards.*
  • Under Promise, Over Deliver.
  • NO matter how many cones, Don't Slip signs and police tape you put up, people from every walk of life will proceed to do so..
  • The SX12/15 does in fact leave a lot less water on the floor..
  • Do not post (recognizable) before and afters of high profile jobs on your Facebook page. I only posted the van shot and the shot of Ely scrubbing on ours and got a good amount of community praise, including from the facility.)
  • Don't go dirt biking and chase a 26 year old around on the day you start a job at 11PM
  • "Minor" grout repair should be made clear on your bid and not misunderstood to mean the ENTIRE 25,665 holes in that Travertine....
  • *= I escaped a disaster by not trying to be the hero.
  • Always remember... Only you and I know just how clean is clean, Gen Pop only wants the Pork Chop removed.
