Got my Ricky G signiture edition in the mail today.

Damn sweet Vacuum cleaner.

Fit, finish, design, durability, features and ease of use compared to my Sanitaire's and Bissell is not even comparable. This thing is a beauty.

But with a paper bag it'll take me weeks (or a Mikefest Vac Off) to decide if it actually works better.

my friend in CA swears by them. now that the Dyson has been declared unethical (it voids warranties, like all of us).... I might get something else. let us know what you think.

yes, it's pretty darn quite for a good vacuum.

I love the accessory wand and it's handle $ telescopic wand. Along with the swiveling edge brush it makes cleaning bas boards and things high up super easy.

Other things I like.

Rubber rear wheels.

Supper supple bright yellow 50 ft cord.

A red light system to let you know if you have the brush roll set too low.

NO BELT!

Rolls turns off when set in upright position.

Airflow is centered along the brush roll.

Stair cleaning assist handle in the right spot.

No tools needed to remove the brush roll.

No escaping dust!

It's like a late model Volvo, super well made, no gimmick or clown colors yet a tad bland in appearance.

Only negetivves are the cost of the bags and filters and not being able to see what I am getting out.

I find that a dirt cup gives me tons of info about the client and the way they keep house.
I dont know if I am willing to give that up to be honest.

I'm contemplating keeping it on board for repeats and high end customers.

I certainly would not subject it to rentals or leaky pet jobs.

How about to vac up after padding OP jobs?

Chad

tried it. as with any manual height adjustment vac's, you have to guess and raise it high or you'll be pulling damp staple fib's and possibly clogging the vac's plumbing. for post-OP-vac i recommend sticking with a auto-adjusting vac like the Dyson.

thanx --- Derek.

you were serious right?

We have a local dealer here, and I ended up buying a used commercial vac from Lindhaus. It is 3 years old,and it does vac very well and quiet! We will see how it goes. I do like having a local dealer for repairs, maintenance etc if needed. Paid $120.00 for it. new brushroll, tune up. If I really like it I will buy a new one next year.

I really like my Lindhaus. I think if they put out a bagless unit, it would be the ultimate vac.
