little giant 3ht problem

I just got a used lg 3ht off of an old steam genie. When the burner kicks on it sends a small flame where the gas line goes to the burner in the front of the heater. It just had new jets put in and the pliot light seem high.

Connection may be loose. I had to replace a pilot light tube once because it had a small hole in it. These are just thin aluminium and can be damaged if they are treated roughly.
