Is there a way to adjust the pilot light.

The pilot on our unit is normally a little small imo. Now it's tiny and I don't know what happened. Do you have any ideas as to what to check?

Thanks

On the face of the thermostat gas valve you will find a small cap screw and under it will be another screw to adjust the pilot light.

and if that does not work you can drill out the opening where the gas comes out. as long as the pilot stays lit, don't mess with it

drilling out the pilot orifice can result in one extremely large pilot light flame. when my flame started getting small and going out i used a small piece of wire from a wire brush and cleaned out the hole. I have tried drilling out the hole in the past and even some of the smallest drill bits will produce a very large flame. You can also purchase a new pilot orifice from almost any propane dealer for less than a buck.
