I know some like 'em and some don't. Never mind the merits.

Has anyone an idea/invention to create drag like on a fishing reel? Also, are there adaptors to help wrap the line on uniformly like some garden house "houses" use?

A drag feature would be so nice to keep unravel run-on.

The "drag" is available on several different hose reels.

They also have roller guides which do help the hose roll up more uniformly.

Some even direct the hose to wind uniformly at more expense.
