How many of you are members of your local chamber of commerce?

does it pay to be a part of it? profit out weigh the cost?

Mine cost $130 per year. I can eat that at the business after hours events they have every month. They allow members to insert fliers in the chamber guide for $100. I've done that a few times and it always pays for itself.

Ours is great. 2 local companies bad mouth each other all the time at the meetings.

"we clean carpet better than any company in town"

"our carpets can't get any cleaner than what we do"

Sounds like a bb

Our dues are 250, I trade a membership for cleaning the offices. It takes 2 hours, well worth it for me.

Mine is $500 a year. Guess that's what happens when you have the cheapest gas in the country---the chamber charges more to balance the economy??????????????
