For starters I would be a bit concerned with the placement of the jets. That's without commenting that it looks like something a special ED shop class created.

it would work at low PSI....2-250..300 tops
the real issue would be keeping both vac slots on the carpet .
a proper wand head position at all times would be critical or it would be a carpet soaker

problem #1 how can you keep both vacuum heads on the floor?

problem #2 oh my god the roller wheels dont adjust. so how does it make a seal?

problem #3 so imagine alternating the front then rear lip making a seal on cgd.. resistance/no resistance/resistance

Looks like a dumb design... I'd take the wheels off, angle the jets to the front some more, have a Y off the top of the wand head instead of running through one another, put some glides on it, and Bam! Minus well get a Zipper and save the headache unless you like to tinker....

Seriously though, with the wheels in Eric V. pics, it looks to be a teder toder type of technique to use it Imho.
