built like a tank (and almost as heavy) but a dinosaur none the less

Great vacuum! I bought one about 2 weeks ago and it is pretty impressive. I have a Kirby, Sanitare 887, Bissell, and now this and this is the best one of the bunch. It is a little heavy, but rolls a lot better than the Kirby (if that makes sense) on the carpet.

I agree with floorguy.......I have a Royal and my mom has a Kirby with push assist. My royal is easier to use.

The Royal has lots of adjustment up and down, just don't put it down too far. Like the ad says, it has a 10 amp motor. It sucks up lots of stuff and will last at least 10 years.

At least with this one you get metal parts instead of plastic for $200.00. Should last a lifetime

Just make sure that it,s has the new style top fill bag and not the old that fills from the bottom. It,s a work horse vacum. jz.

I dont think its a top fill, I would rather have the top fill...

They sell a pile lifter attachment for it, wander if it works.
