BTW, get a 100’ pig tail power cord for it.... the 50’ is not enough..... and the new style tank is 6 gallons, not 5. DO NOT DROP THE HEAD ON A HARD SURFACE (concrete, tile etc.).... the plastic plate on the bottom(white), is fragile, and it will break. Put your foot against the wheel when setting the head down. Do it slowly, or you will break the plate. They are like 100$... I had a helper drop the head on tile, and he broke it...

The beige pads work OK, yes, you get an extra 1k sqft out of them, but the grey dig in, and in my opinion, do a much better job...

I really like the cimex. Its just very heavy. Might need to get a ramp for the van.

Get ramp. It's very awkward to lift. You'll hurt yourself or damage the machine.

Which encap do you plan to use with it?
I’ve used many and keep going back to DSE2 from excellent supply. It doesn’t make me or my kids cough.

I kind of saw those two machines as competitors in the same market, but thought the Cimex was more versatile (tile, carpet, stone, VCT, etc.
Both are excellent machines.
For a greasy restaurant a cimex with red pads can’t be beat. I was amazed.

What's your thoughts on getting into stone polishing with that machine, I have mulled it over but kind of see it as a two man operation.
I thibk it would do it with the weight kit and a correct metal non flexing pad driver.
