Machine Repair Technician/Small Engine Mechanic
Machine Repair Technician/Small Engine Mechanic must have experience with fixing and maintaining appliances with small engines and other mechanical mechanical equipment, such as carpet extractors, burnishers, scrubbing machines and truck mounts are a plus. Additional Training provided.


Requirements
 Have a drive to learn new machines & attend trainings provided by employer
 Must lift up to 50 lbs.
 Able to read electrical schematics
 Knowledge of electronic circuitry
 Mechanical/diagnostic background required
 Must be able to stand for 8 hours
 Computer literate
 Work well with customers and employees
 Excellent communication and relationship building skills
 Detail oriented and excellent follow up skills
 Ability to work independently
 High school diploma or equivalent
 Hold a current and valid driver’s license in the state of your employment
 Well organized
 Ability to prioritize
 Strong attention to detail

Duties
 Maintain and repair machines, mechanical equipment, such as carpet extractors, burnishers and scrubbing machines.
 Troubleshoot and fix faulty electrical problems on machines
 Diagnose machines for our machine service department & order correct parts for repair.
 Do routine and preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly
 Assemble and set up machinery or equipment
 Plan repair work using blueprints, diagrams or schematics
 Efficiently & accurately estimate repair time, costs and parts needed
 Keep detailed records of work
 Proficient PC Skills
Skills
 Forklift certified –IS A PLUS!
 Excellent interpersonal and written skills –IS A PLUS!
 Bi-lingual Spanish – THIS IS A PLUS!
