We don't share our SF prices with the customer. We do charge by the SF and that price varies depending on the soil level, furniture to be moved, etc. Show up, do the dog and pony show, measure out the rooms, ask what they would like done and how much to move, write up a bid and that's the price and we do 95% of the jobs we go to the same time we do the inspection and bid. We tell them on the phone the more we move the higher the cost but we are happy to move anything they want. Most customers move the small stuff anyways. We don't match prices. Sometimes we are lower priced even. Yes, I like to think I have the best people in the world. They are really nice and care about our customers.

ps One thing I have noticed that has helped our closing rate is to give them the free bottle of spotter as soon as we arrive. Sets a nice tone for the visit.
