2nd van is still down...

Was in Body shop probably 2 weeks....they were behind and overbooked....

Got it to the wrap place as of Tuesday, and they are swamped but working on it as of yesterday....

by 6 am today...our job count with the additional emergency calls is now 7 stops and cleanings for the day....with 1 van!! ARgh! :dejection: :hopeless:

So....getting in the shower now after doing all the paper work from yesterday.... I didn't get done....

and all the additional work orders and out the door early again....

BOY DO WE MISS OUR SECOND VAN RIGHT NOW!! :(

Didn't know how much we rely on 2 vans everyday! :(

I drove 3 hours to do one job. Huge house in Sylacauga (beautiful scenery) on a mega ranch. Owned by an Auburn board member and benefactor named Jimmy Pursell. He made his money in fertilizer and lawn care products. He gave me an autographed copy of his biography and a huge check for cleaning countless rugs and more furniture than anyone should have. He also let me fondle his national championship ring. War Eagle! We went in two trucks and I'm sure glad or we'd still be there cleaning.

Mark... Do you use 2 hands with that zipper and just walk back and forth? Got some back problems and curious if the Zipper may help with back issues. Thank you

I use one hand a lot....

I hold the hoses behind and out of my way with the other had a lot....

Sometimes, I do need both hands though to push and pull on some tougher thicker pile carpets.

As far as the back issue....

There are a lot of carpets it is easier for us...and we do Zipper a lot of our jobs including residential....

When we first started using it, we felt in our upper mid back a bit....but it was just getting used to using those muscles again we think...

On commercial....this thing can almost clean itself sometimes....so easy to push and pull....

on some residential....It is a bit tougher....but we really like it

It is a lot faster for us, and also dries so much better, one of the factors why we even like it on residential....

Everyone is different, so I hate to just say this is going to be the magic for you with your back....I would really ask Erik Hiltz if he knows someone around you that you could try the Zipper....

We love them....really do....but when people start talking back issues, I am cautious saying it will fix that....

I had some pics of me using it one handed, and hoses in the other...but can't find them....will see if I can and post them.

Here is my Zipper YouTube Playlist and you would see a bunch of examples in there...plus I know of one my left handed son in law is running it one handed in a church you can see that technique I will post here...

I don't notice anything related to my back when using the Zipper but I've never had any back issues. I'm also only 5'11 so maybe that helps?

You're only down the road in Oklahoma, if you guys can keep the score down this weekend, you're welcome to come up and clean with Zipper here in plant.

Of course if OU pounds KU.....keep the fook on your side of the state line! :winky:

The main and only reason I got the zipper was because I had a pinched nerve in my neck
For 4-5 years......
Went to a chiropractor and he told me I needed a different motion...
Got the zipper and with chiropractor and zipper it cleared up in a few weeks...
Have only had 1-2 flare ups since then....been nearly 2 years
