Was just watching a news spot about a toddler being found on the street. The dad came to pick him up. He has a busn, really nice looking signage on his truck, ie fancy letters, silver, etc but I have no idea what he does. The news had a nice look at his truck. I even replayed it and paused it, I still couldn't figure out what it said.
All these wraps etc are great looking and really flashy, but they are useless if people can't read em or figure out what you do.

As I am planning on redoing my truck graphics, I have been doing the drive by test. What can I see and remember from that van I just saw driving by. How many seconds are there for an impression. What will the prospective customer take home with them to convert them into a valued customer.

Moral of the story, Keep it simple.

I wonder if the news station purposely made the signage unreadable. But you are 100% correct in saying that people sometimes focus on the classiness of the sign on the expense of the readability.
