How do we know it wasn't a HeatExchange unit?

Every time this comes up I recommend looking at Albert's van...that was a heatexchanger...before it blew the van open like a giant can opener

To detonate a HX wouldn't the pressure have to be super excessive ?

Anything powered by gas, or electric can start a fire.
Anything creating heat via any source can start a fire.

Proper use of your equipment can reduce.

But Shit happens..

TM fires happen, car fires happen.

For all we know it was a cds.

I had a chimp come close to setting my van ablaze once. I had an open concept steam action truckmount where the hx and exhaust manifold where exposed. The chimp had drug in the solution hose and left a segment leaned up against the manifold. I went outside to get a spotter bottle and saw black smoke rolling out of the van. I actualy switched on the purge/ courtesy hose to the machine and put it out with that since the flames had trapped the fire ex. I think I was running dry slurry that day lol. Glad it didn't escalate to anywhere near that level. The chimp was also let go
