HOSS 700 Rotary Cleaning Tool Bests the Competition
There's no better way to get real-world evaluation and reviews of products from competing manufacturers than to have professionals, who use such products, put them to the test and rate them based on their professional knowledge, experience and expertise.

We did just that with Sapphire Scientific's HOSS 700 Rotary Cleaning Tool, at a recent popular annual event for cleaning and restoration professionals. The event, "Mikey's Fest" which is organized by MikeysBoard.com, the leading forum and blog site for the professional cleaning and restoration industry, is a popular event because attendees have the opportunity to operate tools and equipment related to their work. Twenty-four professionals took the rotary cleaning tool comparison challenge to experience machines from the four leading manufacturers of such a cleaning tool. They then rated each machine on eight product criteria:

  1. Appearance
  2. Features

  3. Handling/Operation
  4. Cleaning Performance
  5. Perceived Durability
  6. Quality of Construction
  7. Versatility
  8. Value
When all the results were in and tabulated, the HOSS 700 stood head and shoulders above its competition.

Mikey's Fest test results are valuable for cleaning and restoration industry distributors and end-users because it lets distributors know that they can confidently sell a highly rated product, and customers know that independent tests by professionals, like themselves, have validated the product, as is the case with the HOSS 700.

Key features of the HOSS 700 include

  • 15-inch rotor, cleans faster and leaves carpets dryer - and as close as ½ inch from edges.
  • Solution jets designed for easy cleaning - simply remove with a nut driver and rinse clean as needed.
  • Full 2-inch vacuum flow with clear viewing tube - provides increased water extraction capability, and easily monitors cleaning progress.
  • Low-profile heads designed for cleaning under furniture.
  • Industrial-grade gearbox. Rugged ball bearings ensure quiet operation and long life.
  • Easily adjustable handle height.
Check out the Sapphire Scientific website at www.sapphirescientific.com for many more professional cleaning tools, equipment and chemicals that add to the bottom lines of both distributors and users.

Is that a chip in the front of the housing on that machine?
That is the cutout to remove jets.

i would have put it on the back side to hide it, makes it look damaged... Yes I realize its their to make it easy to tilt back and service, but I would just rather not see it.
