What is a Mikey Fest? Why is it different than any other event?
To all of you that may be new here, or just come to MB to learn about carpet cleaning things, and just read than you have read that Mike puts on a event to get guys and gals together to hang out and have a good time.
In the past and really before my time Mike has done this, I have only been to the last 3 M Fests so this is the only knowledge I have of them.
All I can say is I am very fortunate to have kids that are healthy. The last 3 events have been focused on the Ronald McDonald Foundation that helps families that are going through probably some on the most dark times they could ever be in....Their child has a illness that could be life ending for them. For the RMDF to step in and open their doors for these families is giving these children HOPE the families HOPE to a brighter tomorrow.
To be able to come together as a group, as one, is not about carpet cleaning. It is to show these families that people DO CARE in a world full of dark. You just don't see it hardly anymore, and these kids, and families need it desperately.
This event is not about ONE person it is about a group of people that are coming together to give from their hearts,....Yes you may come because you want to see and use tools in real world conditions but I guarantee you will leave these events with a whole new look on life, for humanity.
Yes you will get classes to sit in and learn from other cleaners and gain great knowledge to help you make your business better.
Yes you will get to see the new truckmounts and use them first hand to help you decide on what unit fits your biz be it a startup or if you are looking to add another unit.
Yes you will get to use the latest and greatest tools, pre-sprays, hard surface cleaning from tile to LVP the newest flooring being put into homes today, counter tops of just about every style. Upholstery from basic to very special care....ALL OF THIS in one event....ONE SMALL EVENT.
Ask yourself what event have you ever went to and REALLY got all of this??
This is like no other because there is no other like it, and to top it off you are actually HELPING people that so desperately need a lot of help. It may not seem like much but I guarantee you will more than likely have teary eyes when a child comes up to you and says thank you, to you, when he or she is going through so much.
Look and read at all the posts being said right now, this isn't just a bunch of bull, this is true compassionate responses from people that have come, put their online personalities aside and have seen MF is NOT a joke, it has a TRUE, PURE message....and that message is we have hearts and we DO CARE.
I have made great friends with guys that I wanted to throat punch,....but the truth is we are more alike than we realize, we would not be there if we honestly didn't care.
I have friends that unfortunately their child didn't make it, but their child was treated like gold till the end 100% free. So I want to do what I can to help, and Mike has made it possible for this BDCC to be able to do so.
So please come out to the next event if you can afford it, and see what has made MF " THE BEST LITTLE SHOW EVER" you wont be disappointed
