Has anyone have luck using Microban Clean Carpet Sanitizer?

Basement carpet in a business, several rooms(clue down) was flooded with rain water it was dried up, but smells like PU.

May still have moisture, if the smell is still there.

Check with meters.

Microban Sanitizer will work on contact with microbes.

I agree with Larry, lots of time the surface may be dry but the odor is caused my some microbial activity in the carpet or other affected areas.

Could be vapor diffusion though the concrete slab, could be wet drywall and insulation. If left unattended those materials can really begin to smell as they dry. Wet boxes or clothing when doing residential are also often the culprits for sour odors

Yes the Microban is a good product to use on something like this provided you've alread addressed those other areas of concern.

I've used Steri-Fab.....I ran into a pest control contractor last week, and he had a bunch of empty Steri-Fab jugs on the truck. Asked him what he used it for?? Bedbugs.....kills 'em all.
