I just got off the phone warning a client that moved there over the early summer.
Offered him a bedroom here

His response:
I'm going to ride it out not in low level area I'm concerned about the winds.
Thanks plenty of hotels in the area.
Not at all worried um a Floridian now.


me: im getting out of there. I can always return if nothing happens.

I would just hitch up the single wide ( with porch of course) and haul ass out of there.

I'd leave. That storm is no bs.

That said evacuating from mid Florida is a pita

Luckily it looks like it is losing energy and will hit as a 4 or 3....still a major hurricane

Oklahoma looks really good right now. We need just an incy bit of that water. The last rain we got was 6 inches in August.
