This tool asked if we can clean this up for ‘20-30 bucks’....
Dude, first, use a FOOKIN drop cloth, second, get your head examined....

had an insurance job where they spilt paint like that in the lounge, and they decided to cut a square out with a knife.
They were so convinced insurance would cover it that they didnt use a drop cloth in the hall as they continued painting.
I got sent in to remove the paint in the hall, and they declined cover for lounge carpet.
It possibly could have been successfuly treated and cutting it out was deliberate damage not an accident.

Mint Green Paint was the preferred color for Mental institutions in the 50's.
It's supposed to have a calming effect on people....I see that was lost on you :laura2: !
Actually Ron, I did know that....
It’s the fact that people DO NOT VALUE OUR SERVICES. They think I’ll drive 20-30 min, spend and hr or 2 working on something like this, and they think that it’s only worth ‘20-30 bucks’....
But, I don’t have to explain this to you, as you are in the same profession ....

People think its just so easy for us. With just a few wand passed and $20 in our pocket, we can conquer the world.

I had a purple latex spill like that once. Paint can fell off the ladder. Luckily the guy called me right away. I told him to keep it wet and showed up about 2 hours later. Took some doing but it eventually flushed out. He paid me well. The paint job was to surprise his wife. She would have been even more surprised if the carpets matched.

So you checked to see if the carpet matched the drapes?
