Oh yeah....give me more of this!

NOT! :dejection:

Seems a bit early actually for these really low temps.

Heading out in an hour or so to start today's cleaning!

And I am trying to get my mobile office (RV) fired up in the cold to make sure doing ok and not gelling up the diesel....

Might end up putting a new battery in her...not sure if it has the power, or something is running and draining the battery....Charger on it right now...but thinking...new battery....:hopeless:

The older I get....the more I am hating this weather....told the wife....next year...I might be gone south by now, and she can fly to me and the pups if she want's to stay back in this....

I feel your pain Mark!! We are headed into the low single digits later this week. My wife let me know that it's only 15 more weeks until spring!!

If you aren't moving south, you might as well embrace the season though!! I learned that from my grandparents. They were both still downhill skiing in their mid 80's. I am hoping the lake will freeze over enough by the end of the week to go ice skating !!!!

Mark what is it that's so bad?

Freezing hands?
Keeping the Butler from freezing?
All the clothes?
the slower pace as you fight the resistance?

All of the above! :frown: :errf:

I took a really not shower after being outside most of the day...(or at least back and forth, in and out of places, dragging hoses through snow, knocking the snow off hoses...pants that are freezing solid just from snow)....

AND I AM STILL FREEZING RIGHT NOW SITTING HERE BEHIND THE COMPUTER!

It literally takes a lot more energy to keep moving in the cold.

I am actually thankful it slows down in the cold because it does take more effort....

As far as all the clothes....you have to be able to dress in layers...peel those layers off to clean in a T-Shirt or sweat wicking polo...then throw the jacket back on (but don't zipper it up as you cool off first....

I did get the RV started today...and I am getting that ready!

It's a good thing I enjoyed this when I was younger....

Zero this morning not sure what the wind chill is. Glad I'm not working for a couple days unless I get called for broken pipes. Had one flood Monday already.

Got away with not having to drag hoses through the deep snow in the back of this facility.

2 Apartments across hall from each other. Watched for the little elderly people... Moved hose as needed...

Still dang cold!

Got one to do tomorrow. I already told the lady that she has to get her gardener to dig out the hose bib. It is flush on the ground with a frost free tap. Turned down a job today. About 60 outdoor stairs to climb, 200 feet from the road and nothing's been shoveled. Then if you get in, it's a 3 level townhouse. Who da fak designs these things? Can you imagine if you're the mover?

YOU ------ ARE------JOKING, -----RIGHT ??

Here it is, 11:15 pm & I'm just about to hit the fart sack.

Just in shorts, all windows open and ceiling fans on.

Good grief, I could never live in those sub-human conditions.

The thought of you in short pants makes me nearly vomit. Even more so than the normal urge to vomit I get when I think of you in general. :winky:

Fortunately I'm usually on the shitter when you come to mind!

Yep, pretty ridiculous the weather. Had a nice week scheduled, had to cancel pretty much everything.

Yesterday had a garden hose freeze. HX and pump ran dry... Last night -22 windchill, one of the heaters blew a fuse and was off for a few hours.:hopeless:

Pretty much hating life right now! Sunday night -17(real temp)...

I keep telling my wife that the brutal winters make us appreciate summers that much more. So far, she believes me. We will see if she still does after this winter.

On another note, my 87 year old father flew in from Big Pine Key Florida yesterday. He spends 7 months down there and 5 months up here in Michigan only coming back for a couple of weeks during the holidays. He sure got a shock last night!! Expressways were closed due to icy conditions!! He will complain the entire time he is here about how cold it is!!

Damn Jerry I hope the damage is minimal.

I have job in the morning that has been pushed back already so it needs to get done.

I've been using the pork hole and closing the van up. I'm really happy with this set up.
