Nondestructive and an intrusive moisture probe.

An IR camera is really no good without the other two meters to validate what the camera is showing you.

Infrared meters and electronic thermometers measure two distinctly different characteristics. The Infrared meter measure temperature of hard surfaces based on their electromagnetic spectrum heat signature. The electronic thermometer measures ambient air temperatures by conduction to a measuring probe.

For WD, the IR camera is principally an inspection device, whereas the thermometer is a monitoring device and lesser so can be used for inspection.

The camera makes for an excellent indicator of scope assessment, that is efficient.
