My prochem machines have a pulsation dampener. I think it has a nitrogen filled accumulator. My supplier said that I would never need to service the pulsation dampener. Is this correct? The manual says to recharge it or something like that.

That pulsation dampener was the final straw that caused me to sell my one and only prochem TM years ago.

You can test it by taking it off and pushing the needle thingy in... The old ones were rechargeable... Mine is probably shot, but with the flex in the hose not sure it's needed. I think they cost around $180.

If you solution line is NOT jumping around...you are fine...

You can have them recharged at a paint ball gun supplier."nitrogen" max pressure is 250 psi..

If it is BAD..it will leak water out of the top...

It has a rubber bladder inside of it....they have repair kits...but if it is BAD..just buy a new one..they are pricey.. :!:
